Dr. Doug Garbig, OD, of Garbig Family Eye Care in Wilder, Kentucky, has been practicing as an eye care specialist for 32 years. As part of his comprehensive eye care services, Dr. Garbig now offers neurolens®, a new specialty lens system designed to relieve digital eye strain. Too much screen time can lead to common symptoms such as headaches, migraines, tired eyes, neck or shoulder pain, dizziness, and light sensitivity. neurolens® alleviates this discomfort by fitting into a pair of glasses and bringing the eyes into proper alignment through the addition of a contoured prism.
Dr. Garbig graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry and moved to Kentucky in 1987. He initially practiced in Newport with Dr. Bill Schambach and purchased his practice in 1990. He and Dr. Kerestan were married in Aug. 1990 and have practiced together as co-owners of Family Life Vision Care and Garbig Family Eye Care. Dr. Garbig provides comprehensive primary optometric care, fits contact lenses of all types, and treats all forms of ocular disease. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kentucky Optometric Association.
